We are meant to be at a playgroup already, but we’re going to be late for no other reason than that I don’t want to rush. I don’t want to rush his sleep (he had a really unsettled night, so I know a longer nap and some Vitamin D on those sweet, tired eyelids will help). And I also don’t want to rush myself. There are very little pauses in this season of motherhood, so I’ve got myself a coffee and am just sitting and listening to the birds whilst the sunshine recharges me.
