When we put our worth external to use it results in a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions about how we feel about ourselves. If we are relying on something external to tell us to tell us how worthy we are we will be disappointed because we expect isn’t always delivered or available. The most powerful way to get back in control of how you feel is to learn to give yourself the acknowledgment you’re craving from external sources and start seeing your greatness. One of the best things I ever did was truly realize that what is going on external to me HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. Someone might not want to date you, not because you’re not amazing but because they desire something different. (Different doesn’t mean better) Someone might not invite you somewhere because they thought you wouldn’t want to go, not because they didn’t want you to. Someone might not give you the attention you desire not because you’re not deserving of that but because they don’t have emotional or energetic capacity to do so. When we make our worth be defined by outside sources we make others actions personal. Instead when you embody high self-worth you care less about what others are thinking of you and you are not longer attempting to showcase a version of you that will make someone like you… you just get to be YOU & attract people who LOVE and encourage that! #highselfworth #selfworth #codependency #peoplepleasing #selfgrowthjourney
