Grounded. We chose earth & air elements for our display named ‘ Dirty Dancing ‘ Photography by @ridhwaanmoolla Using earth from a neighbours pile , i boxed it up x 40 and brought it to this beautiful city building as midnight struck. There i met my buddy @sonny_and_willow - she had sourced & gathered blooms from our sponsors @profresh.flowers @tesselaarflowersperth @racheenee.orchids Through the night we planted a dense meadow then watched as it began to sway with the breeze through the building. Two things have charged up my mind from this years Gather experience. Firstly I’ve learnt a lot from our own display and the other floral artists on foam free workings. So many possibilities. Secondly the exhibition as a whole is the most impressive thing - 9 floral allotments of various sizes, shapes, colours all owning their space in this grand place . Each one telling their story then passing on to the next one. Like songwriting, painting and other forms of art the possibilities are endless. For floral fantasies brought to life all you need is imagination….and well …flowers….
