Obstacle work is a key component of #GuideDog training. In this photo a black Labrador has halted for a height obstacle on a course created on our campus with orange traffic cones and a white pvc pole that extends over a sidewalk area. When the dog sees the pole above they stop moving forward. The handler then reaches out to feel for what is blocking the path before prompting the dog to lead them around.
