Today is World Cassowary Day! Did you know, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is home to a beautiful male Southern Cassowary, called Princess?! Princess is 22 years old and has lived at the zoo since we opened our doors back in 2006. These living dinosaurs play a crucial role in rainforest ecology and regeneration.
