Beneath the sapphire crystal caseback, Blancpain calibre 1154.P2 powers the Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Act 3, featuring for the first time a magnetic resistance of 1000 gauss. With its twin barrel design, this timepiece boasts a 100-hour power reserve, while a silicon balance-spring fortifies it against magnetic resistance. The open caseback reveals bridges expanded to match the mainplate's diameter, adorned with decorations inspired by the original Fifty Fathoms MilSpec movement. The oscillating weight, boasts a geometry inspired by the historical rotor – with an opening designed to make it more supple and therefore more resistant to shocks - as well as a snail-shaped finish reminiscent of its rotating motion.
