VIRAL LASAGNE SOUP• A one pot easy meal- i get why it has gone viral. How much liquid you want for the soup is in your hands- i preferred mine a bit on the thicker side (easier to eat and pick up the noodles). Normally you’d add parsley and baby spinach and then top it with ricotta… but I’m afghan so we went with green onions and cilantro instead then topped it with labne- so good! RECIPE: -start with sautéing one chopped onion and 1 tbsp of minced garlic. -once sautéed add 1 lb ground beef and break it down until cooked through. -add your SPICES: 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp dried basil, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper. Optional- red crushed pepper flakes. mix and allow to brown nicely -add 2 spoonfuls tomato paste. Mix -add one 32 oz jar of marinara sauce i used @raoshomemade with one 32 oz box of stock -close the lid and allow this to come to a boil then break up lasagne sheets into small pieces and add them in. I used @barillaus -add 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, chopped green onions, and chopped fresh cilantro -let the lasagne cook through (If you want this to be more “soupy” here’s where you’d add some water as well) •once cooked through- top with ricotta (or in my case plain yogurt or labne) + ENJOY 🤍 . . #soup #food #foodie #cooking #foodstagram #lasagne #feedfeed #tasty #recipe #foodstyling #eeeeeats #instafood #foodreels
