Just because I carry it all so well, doesn't mean it isn't heavy. 4 failed attempts and 1 successful attempt since 2017. We didn't give up. We kept on going. Now, another big fat negative. Makes a total of 5 failed attempts. And I am left with zero fresh cycle treatment. Would I do the injections again? Am I up for it again? Well yes I wouldn't mind doing it again. But somehow age is catching up. When one suffers from infertility, time is not your friend. Some people who aren't on this journey will never understand this. For age plays a part as well for both husband and wife in IVF. Let me tell you the truth about the TWW ( 2 week wait). It is a torture. I shared my current journey during the injections period because that was the easy part. It was technically difficult but it is definitely easier than after you have done the ET (embryo transfer) It's a torture. The uncertainties. The feeling of being hopeful but at the same time feeling worried. Our world is like a roller coaster. I must say that it is a little bit more challenging this time round as I still have my 4 year old daughter to take care of. Her tantrums and etc. And also dealing with my mood swings from all the injected hormones in my body We have tried our best. It's definitely sad. But my husband and I, will heal. It may take a week or maybe more? Although we have been through this many times, we still cry. We grieve, coz we are only human. For now, our love and time is for our precious rainbow baby and our ivf warrior princess, Donna. Everything happens for a reason. And I have accepted the fate of all that has happened. You can cry with us, you can feel us. And we thank you for that. But please do not feel sorry for us. We will still try our best till we both think it is time to end this journey. If it's meant to be, it will be. From an IVF warrior to another, KEEP ON FIGHTING. You are not alone. To those men out there struggling with infertility, on behalf of my husband, I want you to know that you are not alone. It doesn't make you less of a man. You can do it!
