Kimchi Gochujang Cheddar Pinwheels 🥬🌶🧀 These flaky, buttery, cheesy, and kimchi-packed pinwheels are incredible and so easy to make! The spice and tang of the kimchi are rounded out by the nutty sesame oil, sweet and smoky gochujang, and rich and sharp cheese. I made these for lunch yesterday and my taste-tester inhaled these rated them a 10/10! Watch to the end of the video for a handwritten abbreviated recipe you can screenshot! Ingredients ❃ 3 green onions chopped ❃ 1 cup kimchi, roughly chopped ❃ 2 cups sharp cheddar, grated ❃ 1 tsp sugar ❃ 1 tbsp sesame oil ❃ 1 tbsp gochujang ❃ 1 egg, lightly beaten ❃ 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (~245 grams), defrosted Instructions 1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350 F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. 2️⃣ Combine the green onions, kimchi, cheddar cheese, sugar, and gochujang in a bowl. 3️⃣ Unroll the defrosted pastry and spread on the kimchi mixture, leaving a 1” gap at the end. 4️⃣ Brush a little of the beaten egg on the 1” gap and roll up into a tight coil. 5️⃣ For easier cutting, place in the freezer for about 10 minutes to firm up, then slice into ~1 inch pieces. 6️⃣ Place the pastry onto the baking sheet and bake for ~30 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up. 7️⃣ Sprinkle green onion on top and serve! #kimchi #pastry #pinwheel #puffpastry #KoreanFusion #KoreanFood #EasyRecipe #RecipeReels #RecipeVideo #FoodReels #FoodVideo #KimchiPinwheels #KimchiCheddarPinwheels
