Every person that takes care of birthing people should have an opportunity to see what undisturbed, truly physiologic birth looks like. It only takes a handful of births to understand that, the vast majority of the time, birthing people and babies know exactly what to do. When you see birth work, it reframes the way that you care for people, such that even when birth needs help, it's possible to help birthing people and babies in the most respectful way possible that serves to honor the normal physiology of birth, bonding, and early parenting.
