When I switched disciplines to become an ice dancer years ago, I studied the sport obsessively and some performances I played endlessly on repeat! The Frida programme by Delobel/ schoenfelder was just brilliant and I massively respected the team….. Fast forward 17 years and I am working with Isabelle Delobel who was coaching the British ice dance academy and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fundamentally better skater with greater command of the blade and her edges! 😮🙌🏻 During the last session led by the brilliant Maurizio (another former world champion!) I was able to demonstrate some improvisation with Isabelle - a total pinch me moment getting to skate with a world champion of such epic quality and skating calibre.
