Honestly, I can’t even remember what our routine was! We had some cleaning zones, right? And chore charts? What color carpet do we have in the playroom? I need a routine back in my life! I love having my kids home in the summer. We have been having a blast in between doctor appointments and therapies. We’ve done lots of swimming, playing outside, walks, bike rides, art projects, working on PACO (if you don’t know what PACO is—go check out our last reel—your mind will be blown!), painting, play dough, and slime. Yes SLIME. The one kid-friendly substance that is banned from my home, because I really have tried to be a fun mom this summer. As we gear up for school in a couple weeks and my surgery after that, I’m feeling extra pressure to get my family back into a routine. But I’m overwhelmed with where to start! And I can’t be the only one, right? But this is where you—my wonderful Instagram friends— come in! Where do you start your day? Do you use checklists?
