Melona Bingsu 메로나 빙수🍈🍧 Melona is an iconic Korean ice cream, recognizable by its signature honeydew green color and rectangular shape. It is delightfully creamy, sweet, and has a distinct fruity melon flavor that brings back childhood memories of summers in Korea. I made a melona-inspired bingsu 빙수, aka Korean shaved ice. This dessert is so wonderfully refreshing, creamy, fruity, and icy all at once! Have you tried Melona? Ingredients: 🍈 1.5 cups oat milk or full fat milk 🍈 1/4 cup sugar 🍈 1/4 cup water 🍈 1 honeydew melon 🍈 1 tbsp condensed milk 🍈 3 melona bars Instructions: 1️⃣ To create simple syrup, place sugar and water in a cup or bowl and microwave fro 1-2 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. 2️⃣ Combine milk with the simple syrup, mix well, pour the mixture into ice cube molds, and freeze for at least 4 hours. 3️⃣ Place a melona bar in a cup to melt. 4️⃣ Cut a honeydew melon in half and scoop out the melon flesh with a melon baller. Save the melon rind and set aside the melon balls. 5️⃣ Crush the sweetened milk ice cubes with an ice shaver or food processor or add to a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin. 6️⃣ Place a melona bar at the bottom of the melon rind bowl (remove the stick!), add the shaved ice, and pour the melted melona ice cream and condensed milk on top of the ice. 7️⃣ Top with melon balls and a melona bar.
