“Oh, what a beautiful mornin' Oh, what a beautiful day I've got a beautiful feelin' Everything's goin' my way.” -Rodgers & Hammerstein “Oklahoma!” And what a beautiful morning it was at the Cheeseboro Canyon Trailhead ribbon cutting this morning. 🌤️ National Park Service staff and local elected officials were joined by community members and others to celebrate the reopening of this trailhead in Agoura Hills that is popular with hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. The trailhead parking area is now accessible for all users with potable water, horse trailer parking, a pedestrian pathway, a 20’x40’ shade structure, and a new vault toilet.       In addition to all the visitor enhancements, the project mitigated flooding hazards for local residents by regrading the site and installing a new system of storm drainage utilities.   Come over and check it out!
