It was a galore of events at Sona Institutions as Sona Group celebrated the Nation's 77th Independence Day! Chief Guest, Sri.C.Valliappa, Chairman of the Sona Group hoisted the #Nationalflag. Students of the Sona Institutions exhibited their #patriotism through their dance and silambam performances! Appreciating the performances, the Chairman announced Rs.10,000/- for each team to hone their extracurricular skills. Chairman, C.Valliappa, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Vice-chairman of Sona, Dr.S.R.R.Senthilkumar, Principal of Sona College of Technology and Dr.V.Karthikeyan, Principal of Thiagarajar Polytechnic College , Mrs.E.J.Kavitha, Principal, Sona Valliappa Public School, Dr.Bhuvaneswari, HoD, Bio Technology Department, Sona College of Arts and Science addressed the Deans, Heads, faculty, staff, NCC, NSS cadets instilling patriotic fervour. #77thindependenceday
