Super Easy Karachi Style Biryani 🔥 Recipe by @chef.saadat       for Yakhni oil(fried onion) 1/2 cup chicken thigh 3 lbs Black Cardemom 3-4 Clove 8-10 Black Peppercorn 15-20 Cinnamon stick 3 (1 inch) Star Anise 2 cumin seeds 1 tbsp Chili powder 2 Tbsp Crushed chili 2 Tbsp Salt 2 tbsp or to taste   Ginger garlic paste      2 tbsp Green chili paste 1 tbsp Yogurt 1 cup Jhol Mix Yogurt 1/2 cup Green chili/serrano 4 Cilantro 1 bunch Mint 1 bunch   Layering Potatoes 2 (quartered and soaked with saffron color) Tomatoes sliced            4 Fried onion 1 cup (reserve some for top) Lemon ( 1 Peeled slice) Dried plums 5-6 Basmati Rice 2 lbs ( 10-15 mins soaked)  Water 4-5 ltr Salt.                                5 tbsp For Dum Mace powder ¼ tsp Nutmeg Powder ¼ tsp Kewara water 1 Tbsp (dissolve with saffron color) Oil (fried onion) ½ cup Hot Water ¼ cup   • Add all the yakhni ingredients to a large pot and bring to a full boil. Cook for 5 minutes. • Place all the layering ingredients over meat including jhol mix • Par boil ( 3 kanni) 70% cooked • Combine par boiled rice and dum ingredients together, cover with tight lid and cook on high flame till you see steam. • Turn the flame to low and cook for 10 minutes. Then, turn the heat off. • Wait 10-15 before serving; mix gently before dishing out It turned out super yummy!
