Although the hardest thing I’ve ever done in life, breastfeeding has to also be one of the most rewarding 🥹 Black Breastfeeding Week is coming to an end, but I just want to shed some light on its significance! If you’ve never heard of a “wet nurse” it’s about time you Googled or asked an ancestor 🤭 Although the idea of a wet nurse is still alive and well, the stigma has lingered over the black community and resulted in less social support for breastfeeding within our community. With that in mind, don’t be afraid to let the tits hang and feed those babies wherever, whenever!
