Migrate with Us: From Dinosaur National Monument to Grand Canyon National Park! Over the last week and a half, Latino Heritage Internship Program (LHIP) interns, Ellianni Rodriguez and MacEva Wright participated in an exchange between their host parks, Dinosaur National Monument and Grand Canyon National Park. Rodriguez and Wright contribute to monarch butterfly conservation in their home parks through monarch tagging, habitat restoration, community science, and public education. As a part of the exchange, both LHIP interns supported a public monarch tagging event at Josie's Cabin at Dinosaur National Monument, enjoyed some park views on South Kaibab Trail, provided family programming and outreach for visitors at Grand Canyon National Park, and successfully tagged and released monarch butterflies!
