A month dedicated to celebrating, educating & raising as much awareness as we can for all the beautiful, brave & incredible Alopecia humans! ✨🫶🏼💙 Living with a visual difference is hard & can affect not only your physical appearance but your mental health as well. Alopecia awareness has come on leaps & bounds since I lost my hair around ten years ago but we still have so much work to do! 💫 I want to post my true self on my socials so the younger generation never feel alone when living with a visual difference. I want to help change beauty standards so less people dislike their reflection because they don’t look like a filtered image they’ve seen on their feed. I want to be the person I once needed while watching my hair fall out in clumps & I want to use my socials to help everyone love themselves just as we are! (because we are all incredibly beautiful without needing to change!) Kicking off the month with my biggest insecurity. It has taken me so long to look at pictures of the back of my head without crying 🥲 I have struggled with my bald angles ever since my Alopecia began. The more we post, talk & show our securities, the more likely it is to help someone with the same thoughts & make their insecurities a little easier💞 Sending you all lots of love!
