Uffff, I can’t be the only one who gets so fed up of people telling us what we should and shouldn’t be doing. Don’t get me wrong I am all up for suggestions and ideas but at my age now I am done with other’s expectations of how they view my life “should” look. I’ve had an eye opener this year, especially this summer break. I’ve realised I have more inner work to get on with, I don’t ever find this easy, but I know I need release from certain things that have been stored up within me from a very young age. Healing is like this; just when you think you’re near the finishing line you realise the damn line just keeps on moving. I’ve come to terms with the fact that our work is never done when it comes to working on ourselves and growing. I look around me and realise I’ve been in survival mode for a very long time now, and those of you who have been in the same juxtaposition, just know, this does not make us victims, our lives are just different and we’ve had to cope with a very different childhood and early adult years. Hence the term survival mode (this is done on an unconscious level) I’m trying something new, it’s an extension of the EFT technique and I will be happy to report back with the progress. Ps. Uffff is the Indian way of showing you’re fed up 😂 Pps. I have many moments of wondering whether I should have deleted this caption, but I’ve also come to realise that if I’m feeling something I’m usually not the only one.
