It’s good to look back sometimes to see how far you’ve come. These pics are from mid December last year. Someone on the last class noted how solid the wooden floor was and asked how it was fitted. I realised I hadn’t shown it at the time. It’s a solid concrete floor with 90 x 45 (4” x 2”) joists laid on their side, with Sikaflex adhesive and 100mm masonry anchors every 600mm ( 2’ ) . Between the joists is pink batt insulation. Recycled hardwood flooring was then top nailed and glued to the joists . Such a beautiful floor to work on.
