Rain got nothing on us at the @sydney_marathon Singapore City Run last evening 🏁🤍Feeling lucky- not because of the absence of bad days (or rather bad weather like yesterday 🌧️🙈) But knowing that we’ll always power through in spite of it ❤️‍🔥 Grateful for recovered healthy legs, taking me to brand new counties I’ve never been - pushing through all the rough training sessions I put you through 🫣; Grateful to have found something I love and wouldn’t mind waking up at 4am training for 😂, and most importantly Grateful to have found a like minded , supportive and inspiring running community that I can do it with, who - inspite of wet and dreary weather, showed up for themselves and ran under the raindrops 💯so proud of you team 7 mins! Thank you for running under the rain with me 🫶 T-10 days to running the half marathon in the @sydneymarathon (my second overseas half marathon this year!), and already so excited to join my fellow #friendsOfSydney members @swashed @thejohnyeong @imsebastianrun @danfantheman and being a part of this history making moment - in making the Sydney marathon the 7th Abott World Marathon Major 🏅 Also a special shout out and thanks to our @sydney_marathon ambassador and SEA Games athlete, @melvinwongyh for sharing his helpful personal training tips and race day stories with us, and who will be running the race with us too!
