6 year’s of Ironman racing. A solid transition from kiwi style off off road adventure racing to an incremental undertaking of dedicating to detail Everyone who has worked with me over my career would say I am not an athlete you can box into regiment. Each year I’ve come around a little. My coach Ben Reszel has a special German way about him and somehow he has made detail and precision feel natural. Each of my coaches along the way have taught me a lot - but you have to be ready to take it on. I was ready for this approach and Ben has been the coach who accepts nothing less than my full buy in Tomorrow I will race with my instincts and my heart, but with the confidence that we ticked every box leading in. Time to press the start button. The race starts Sunday 6.50am in France. Sunday 4.50pm in NZ and 2.50pm Aussie time.
