Leave a #🐛 if you like part two of my caterpillar diary! 🤭 Meet my very much grown houseguest! I needed to provide at least three twigs of freshly cut basil a day to meet their demand of food and also take care of the respective housekeeping - the old jam Glas did not clean itself 🤪 So eventually a larger home was needed - especially as the caterpillar showed distinct signs of fatigue and want for withdrawal from the public eye. But although the new basil filled conservatory provided enough possibilities to spin a hammock between the greens they decided to attach their cocoon like white gossamer right under the inner brim of the new jar. The shrubs were removed during the time of their metamorphosis to avoid the possible hazard of mold.
