I keep finding myself here in my room this weekend. The way these two quilts play beautifully together, the lovely light, the respite from the noise of the rest of the house. It's so rare that I sit and do nothing, but when I do, I can feel myself being put back together. These quilts are #midnightfeastquilt and #foreignerquilt. I didn't have a name for the Trip Around the World Quilt until now, when I thought it might be nice to give it its own hashtag so you can see how it came together. Foreigner, partly for the original design name, partly because I've been listening to Outlander this week, and partly because it's how I often feel about myself. It was one of my favourite quilts to make, took around 2 years, and now lives on my bed. 🖤 #englishpaperpiecing
