Its been a week FULL of emotions. So bitter , sweet. As you may know bodhi was unable to have his superhero party because he was in hospital. His birthday was managed at home after nearly three months in hospital. But he was so poorly he couldnt even face eating his birthday cake. I wheeled him around to his nursery and they all sung him happy birthday, he gave them all a cup cake and i watch their happy faces as my heart shattered into a million pieces at the unfairness of it all. We made the best of it and bodhi threw two fingers up to cancer and started #pantstoleukaemia. YESTERDAY HE FINALLY GOT HIS 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY. His little friends came and they played and had the best day, i brought the same cake as january and it was kind of symbolic as he blew out the candles with all his friends watching , this time wanting a slice ! .. he asked to go to bed too tired to even open his belated birthday gifts 🎁 I lay there so happy we had managed to finally throw him the party he so deserved.... but sad and heavy and full of a worry that i know now will never leave me, i can never un-know what i know, un-see what I've seen , un-hear what I've heard or un-feel what I've felt .
