We rolled out the blue carpet for our friends from Chile. For the last few days, we welcomed a delegation from @embajadaeeuucl and @lagoslimpioscl to visit our Jewel of the Sierra, connect with fellow lake conservationists, and tour projects that are helping #KeepTahoeBlue. Since 2018, the League to Save Lake Tahoe has worked closely with Chile Lagos Limpios in our shared mission to protect and preserve the lakes we love. For Chile Lagos Limpios, it’s 23 lakes in northern Patagonia. Along with @trpa_tahoe and @ucdavistahoe our hope is to share the lessons learned over decades in Tahoe – the wins and the losses – to keep Chile’s lakes clean for future generations.
