👀 My original video got ~4 MILLION views so I’m resharing because this hack is BOMB and it’s perfect for the cozy fall weather we’re starting to get 🍁🧣 [ 🌶 JUMBO Rice Paper Tteokbokki HACK 🌶 ] Rice paper tteokbokki (Korean rice cakes) were all the rage last year but I decided to experiment and make JUMBO rice cakes with them! 🤩 They were perfectly chewy, and it honestly tasted so similar to rice cakes 🙈 If you haven’t seen my last three rice paper videos, go check them out first! 😆 Rice paper tteokbokkis are a tiny bit chewier than regular rice cakes. Make sure not to cook it for longer than a few minutes or else it’ll be even more chewy. ✨ instructions: Wet three pieces of rice paper in hot water for a few seconds and put it on a plate. Fold up halfway, then roll it up TIGHTLY (keyword here). Make 4 or 5, and then add it to your Tteokbokki sauce (garlic, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar, gochujang). Add that to a couple cups of dashi or water and then add your favourite toppings. I used only fish cakes and green onions. 💪🏻 Once the sauce is combined and your toppings are cooked, then add the rice paper tteok (rice cakes). Cook for a 3-4 minutes and add in your cream/oat milk if you want it less spicy 🔥🥵, as well as cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
