Mario Monday. Mario Buatta, of course! I spent a good part of the weekend reading “Mario Buatta: Anatomy of a Decorator,” written by Mario Buatta’s very good friend Emily Evans Eerdmans. I won’t ruin it for you by giving too much away but i must say that it is fascinating and the illustrations incredible. Shown here, views of the double parlor in the Charleston house of Mr. Buatta’s friend and client Patricia Altschul, who wrote the foreword to the book.
