Pear Desserts! I may have to move after this post because my neighbor has a pear tree that produces the most exquisite pears and they are all left for the squirrels to eat, so I pick them. They hang heavy on the branches over the sidewalk and practically smack me in the head as I walk the dog. I’ve tried ringing the bell to ask permission but have never had a response, so I pick them and bake with them and love them! The rest rot on the street. Now that I’ve come clean about where I get the pears, here are some of my favorite desserts made with them and some that I actually buy at the store.
