If you like Alfa Romeo’s it’s always worth a look @jimstokesworkshops stand at Goodwood. At this years revival there were a brace of 8C 2300’s both fresh from taking part in this years Mille Miglia retrospective. The first car numbered ‘82’ is a Spider by Zagato (2111006) and was driven in the 1932 Mille Miglia by Ghersi & Ramponi. This car was later owned by Rodney Felton and alternated between Monza and Spider bodies in VSCC races and other events in the 70s and 80s, too much success. It now sports the body style it wore in the ‘32 Mille Miglia, and I love that trio of red lights! The second car wearing ‘54’ is another Spider by Zagato (I think it is 2211089?). That car competed in the 1934 Mille Miglia with Gramolelli & Toti wearing that number, and this year competed with @fiskens_cars #alfaromeo #alfaromeo8c #alfaromeo8c2300 #zagato #millemiglia #prewarcar #italianracingred #supercharged #goodwoodrevival
