WORDS LOSE THEIR MAGIC WHEN THEY’RE NOT SPOKEN…. Taken New Years Eve Dec 31 2012. The last time we celebrated New Year with mom. 10 years she’s been gone this August. I still miss the mornings that I kiss her every morning before I go to work and whisper in her ear, “God bless you, Ma.” I may have been remissed in telling her I love her. I feel I have not told her enough. I make up for it by telling her everyday how much I love her. I think in life, we get to live out our purpose for someone. For me, it was my mom. I had to be brave however to continue to live without her. That’s what she would’ve wanted. To have a happy purposeful life makes us thrive. It’s just not a matter of existing. It’s no wonder some could not go on in life when the most important person in their life has gone. It takes courage to get on with life. And so we cling on in the hope that the love we have been holding sacred in our hearts will not fail us. So, while you still have the chance, tell your mom everyday that you love her.
