Monstrous and never restored Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 TT 12, chassis 11512.008, in the livery Campari-Redlefsen, as race at the 1975 6th hours of Watkins Glen, drive by Pescarolo and Bell for the semi-privateer Willy Kauhsen Racing team The Alfa Romeo T33 TT12 is one of the evolutions of the 1967 Alfa Romeo 33. Designed by engineer Carlo Chiti and produced in six units from 1973 to 1976, compared to previous models it introduced an unprecedented boxer 12 cyl engine on a tubular frame (TT means Telaio Tubolare) as well as a new fiberglass body. The engine, a 12-cylinder boxer of 2995 cm³, 4 valves per cylinder, DOHC and Lucas mechanical injection, already in 1975 expressed 500 hp at 11,500 rpm. Weighing just 670 kilos, the car could exceed 330 kilometers per hour.
