We trekked from 8am to 10am on Day 8. 🗻 Most groups were intent upon having lunch before setting off for the ‘final lap’. I felt like we were just starting to gain momentum so I told my guide that we should ‘just go’ after having a hot cup of coffee and some biscuits. ☕️🍪  It proved to be a good choice (for me at least* 👀). When we reached the base camp, there were no crowds, no queues, just 3 small groups of us* having the best time taking the silliest photos with this rock we all came to see. *at least 2 people got hit by an AMS spell later that day when we headed back down Gorakshep* #JamieChecksEBC ✅
