Potato Starch Noodles 🍜 2 ingredients stand between you and a bowl of thicc noodz 🥵 Made these quick (gluten free!) potato starch noodles for lunch and they were filthy good 🤤 these noodles have a delicious chew - tossed them through a garlic chilli oil and slurped up in MINUTES. Recipe 👇 (makes 1 bowl of noodles) Ingredients 1 cup potato starch 1/2 cup boiling water 1 Tbsp sweet chilli flakes 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 Tbsp sesame seeds 3 cloves garlic (minced) 1 spring onion (finely chopped) 1 Tbsp black vinegar 2 Tbsp soy sauce 1/4 cup vegetable oil Method 1) To make the noodles, add potato starch to a bowl and stir in boiling water. Once cool enough to touch, squeeze and stretch the dough with your hands for 5 minutes to get rid of any little lumps in the batter (important to do this while dough is warm for a smooth dough!). Divide dough into 8 smaller pieces and roll out with hands to create 8 thick strands of noodles. In a large pot, bring water to boil and drop in the noodles. Cook for 4-5 minutes. 2) While noodles are cooking, place chilli flakes, sesame seeds, garlic and spring onion in a large heatproof bowl. Heat oil in a saucepan until smoking and pour over garlic chilli mix. Once sizzling has died down, give it a mix and stir in the black vinegar and soy sauce (sub with GF alternatives if need be!). Once the noodles are cooked remove from pot and toss through the garlic chilli oil.
