It is truly sad to watch the downward spiral of healthcare. Never in my career have I seen so many parents or spoke with so many people who question all of medicine and healthcare. The lowering of the standards we have witnessed over the last few years is appalling. It doesn’t seem like companies are even pretending to try to provide good research or data anymore. We are basically at the point where things seem to be getting approved without appropriate research or almost any Saftey testing. That is so sad to me because healthcare could be such a beautiful thing and there are so many wonderful doctors and scientists working hard out there for their patients. But right now it appears that money is running medicine, not wellness. Where are the calls by our public health officials about healthy lifestyle? Why is the media focused on medication and not prevention? It is within our power to improve health.
