So I set out to do 3 days all fruit detox. I did it for the most part, Monday-Wednesday but added nuts and had dinner on Wednesday night. • Day 1 was brutal. Headache and hunger threatened to end it from the start. But I was steadfast. Day 2, the headache subsided and I wasn’t overly hungry. What I did notice on the end day 2 is that my stomach wasn’t feeling heavy with bloat and I had a lot of energy. I ran a lot of errands on day 2 and didn’t feel sluggish. I was also drinking a ton of water. • Day 3, I looked in the mirror and was like hey skin! I was glowing and trust me my skin doesn’t give that often. All in all it’s not an easy detox but feels like a necessary evil to give your body and digestive system a break from time to time. • I’m going to try to do this 1-2 days per week going forward. Just fruits and vegetables followed by sensible eating without a diet feel per se. • I didn’t weigh myself because I’m really over the scale but I do notice the difference it made in my stomach.
