“Velvet Terrorism: Pussy Riot’s Russia,” an exhibition of works by artist collective Pussy Riot, co-curated by Ragnar Kjartansson, Ingibjörg Sigurjónsdóttir, and Dorothée Kirch in close collaboration with Maria Alyokhina of Pussy Riot, is on view at Louisiana Museum of Art (@LouisianaMuseum) in Denmark through January 14, 2024. The exhibition will simultaneously be presented at Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (@MACMontreal) from October 25, 2023 through March 10, 2024. • Formed in Moscow 2011, the feminist-activist art collective Pussy Riot are famous for their spontaneous and courageous actions challenging the Russian regime.
