At sundown this evening, Yom Kippur begins for Jewish communities in BC and around the world. The Day of Atonement, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, is a time for families and friends to fast, pray, and seek forgiveness. Yom Kippur is a solemn day of reflection and repentance, and is also a time to set goals and commit to a better future in the year ahead. To all who observe Yom Kippur, we wish Tzom Kal and G’Mar Chatimah Tovah. -- שקיעת החמה הערב, תסמן את תחילתו של יום כיפור עבור קהילות יהודיות בבריטיש קולומביה וברחבי העולם כולו. יום הכיפורים, היום הקדוש ביותר בלוח השנה היהודי, הוא זמן שבו משפחות וחברים צמים, מתפללים ומבקשים סליחה. יום כיפור הוא יום חגיגי של הרהור ותשובה, והוא גם זמן טוב להציב מטרות ולהתחייב לעתיד טוב יותר בשנה הקרובה. לכל אלו השומרים על הלכות יום כיפור, אנו מאחלים צום קל וגמר חתימה טובה. #YomKippur #GovernmentOfBC #ProvinceOfBC
