🇺🇸 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬! Today, an awe-inspiring turnout of approx. 1,200 cadets, faculty, and staff joined the 2023 5K #TunnelToTowers run in the heart of New York City. This event holds deep significance, tracing Fire Fighter Stephen Siller's final steps from Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers, a poignant tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters, law enforcement officers, and countless civilians who perished on September 11, 2001. Leading this dedicated formation were U.S. Military Academy First Captain Martayn Van de Wall, followed by @westpointsuperintendent Lt. Gen. Steve Gilland, @dean.usma Brig. Gen. Shane Reeves, @commandant.usmilitaryacademy Brig. Gen Lori Robinson, along with members of the U.S. Corps of Cadets.
