I am participating in a WW recipe share week with my friends below - be sure to give them a follow! @ashleyfitnessfoodie @mybizzykitchen @nikkigets_fit @wwchefsteph These mini apple pies are delicious and only 4 WW points each on the diabetic plan, and 3 points each on the regular WW plan. The base of the dough is my skinny pizza dough. If you don’t have that recipe, simply comment: DOUGH in the comments and the recipe will be sent directly to your DM’s. 😍 Ingredients: 8 ounces skinny pizza dough, divided into 1 ounce portions 1 large apple (I used @sugarbeeapple from @marianosmarket) 3/4 cups water 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1/3 cup no calorie Splenda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 egg yolk mixed with 1 tablespoon water (egg wash) 2 teaspoons coarse sugar Slice the apple. In a skillet sprayed with avocado oil spray, cook the apples for 1-2 minutes. Mix the water, cornstarch, Splenda and cinnamon and pour into the pan, cook over medium low heat for 3-4 minutes, or until bubbly and thick. Let cool. Roll out one ounce of dough for the bottom of each mini pie pan. Divide the apple mixture between the pies. With the remaining 4 ounces of dough, roll out 1 ounce and cut each circle into 8 stips, removing the outer strips. Using the 6 remaining strips, make a lattice for each pie. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar (not cinnamon like I said in the video 🤣) and bake at 425 for 22-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
