Rotisserie chicken hack. It's soup season and the best soups start with homemade stock. Don't throw out the bones from your rotisserie or roasted chickens! You can use them to make such good chicken stock. Remove the meat and skin and save the bones in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. You can put bones (even frozen) into a stockpot, slow cooker, or instant pot with a chopped onion, carrots and celery and cover with cold water. I simmer on the stove for 6 hours or slow cooker I start on high for 4 hours and then switch to low for 12-20 hours! Instant Pot I usually do 100 minutes. Strain and refrigerate. You just made awesome stock for practically nothing!
