Leather Lighter Case // No Stitching, One Piece of Leather // FBF ___________ I use lighters to melt the thread ends when hand stitching projects and I made this one piece of leather case for them just over two years ago and still really like the design, so I thought I would share it again – here is what I originally wrote: I’ve made leather lighter cases in the past, but they were always more or less permanent which seemed like a waste long term and also didn’t allow me to ship them (apparently shipping flammable things isn’t advised 😉), so I wanted to come up with a simple design that I could easily swap out the lighter with a new one when it ran out of fuel. I remembered seeing a one piece of leather lighter case design a while back (probably on Pinterest), but couldn’t find it, so I decided to just try and make my own version from the rough idea I remembered. It took a couple template iterations, but I eventually figured it out and I’m pretty pleased with the simplicity of the design in the end. ___________ #lightercase #customlighter #leathergoods
