Guitar Strap Upgrade // FBF ___________ One of my guitar straps had this cheap vinyl where the strap connects to the guitar and I thought to myself, you do leather work…this is just embarrassing 🤣, so a year ago I decided to give my guitar strap a leather upgrade and also decided to add a place for a backup guitar pick too! I think it looks a lot better, what do you think?! ___________ The process was fairly straightforward – I made a template out of cardstock by drawing one side, then folding it in half to trace the opposite side ensuring everything would be symmetrical. Then I attached and stitched the guitar pick compartment before folding and gluing it to itself. Then I used my arbor press and a round punch to create the slot for the strap button on the guitar.
