This is Everest. He’s 9-10 weeks old and came to Moraine Lake this week with his sister (more about her tomorrow) to represent their litter who are currently looking for homes. #adoptable Everest accepted a bath from his rescue before the early morning adventure. He napped en route to the lake and then napped some more in the kayak (waking only to accept snacks). On shore and on the rock pile viewpoint, he met lots of other lake visitors from all around the world. We took a short hike at Everest’s pace at the quiet end of the lake. He was probably pretty impressed with the scenery and the planning for the day but he kept it that to himself. Not as silly as he looks, whenever he was unsupervised in the kayak, Everest moved deliberately and covertly to help himself to the snack pocket in the pack wedged behind the seat. He had noted just where it was and figured just how to access. This included when his sister was shaking hands meeting potential adopters, when he was getting a ride in the kayak on shore, and when he was thought to be napping. #foolmethrice If you know someone who would love this smart, sweet little fluffer, Everest is available now for foster to adopt from @heartmountainrescue in Exshaw, Alberta.
