Some sunny days at Brooks call for a pilot pool party in Naknek Lake. It’s not rare that bears walk along the beach right by the planes, but seeing these siblings play fight as we sat on the float of Britt’s beaver after our swim was pretty cool 🤠 #summerhighlight2023 #brooksfalls #brooks #katmainationalpark *before all the questions/comments start flowing… the safest place we could have been in this scenario is right where we were. we weren’t going to draw attention from the bears by climbing out of the water and into the plane, and we certainly weren’t going to walk right past them to move the other direction. you can see there’s no distress from the bears nor the pilots :)
