🥪 Patty Melt 🥪 🍔 Kinda like a burger but with different buns LOL. 🤣 ✨This hearty sandwich is definitely comfort food. Don’t recommend eating it everyday but one in a while is nice haha. ** caramelized onions are a must! Helps to balance out the richness of the meat. Also I used pepper jack because it gives a little bit of heat but you can use whatever melty cheese you want! ✨Super excited to be testing out @hexclad 3-in-1 hybrid technology cookware. Their pans combines the searing power of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and the easy care of nonstick pans. 1 serving Ingredients: - 1/4 lb ground beef - 1/2 sweet onion, thinly sliced - 2 sliced of sourdough bread - 2 slices of pepper jack - salt/pepper to taste - 3-4 Tbsp butter Instructions: 1.) Add a drizzle of olive oil into the griddle/skillet. 2.) Place the onions in. Stir constantly until the onions are caramelized, soft, and golden brown. Remove and place aside. 3.)Melt 1-2 Tbsp of butter in the griddle/skillet over medium heat. 4.) Place the slices of bread on top of the butter and toast both sides, remove and place aside. 5.) Season the ground beef with a sprinkle of salt and ground black pepper. 6.) Form into patty shapes. 7.) Melt 1 Tbsp over the griddle/skillet. 8.) Placed the seasoned patties in and cook until a dark brown crust forms. Don’t forget to flip! 9.)
