SOLD 🎉 This 1950s ‘Frederick’s of Hollywood’ tropical is FABULOUS!!! Fantastic black cotton halter dress with the *best* screened leaf print ever, in coral, grey, & metallic gold! Perfect tropical beauty! Nice fitted bodice that’s like a strapless with wide halter straps that come up over the bust with smocking in the back, inner boned bra for support, pleats across the bust, fill skirt (shown with a crinoline that is not included) & the halter strap can be worn several different ways for great versatility! This beauty has a metal back zip, everyone’s favorite label, & flat measurements are as follows: 38/40 inch bust, 30/31 inch waist, hips are oh-so free, it’s 8 inches from underarm to waist, & 28 inches from waist to hem, with 2.5 inches to let down if needed. In very good condition with a few things to note-the smocking is totally shot-that can be fixed if you need it smaller, or stick to the measurements & you’ll be fine. There is some verdigris at on the strap & side of the bodice, I hadn’t noticed it until posting it, the white cotton lining is a bit yellowed, but is clean.
