Now, what are the odds that all five of these incredible individuals, who have been the Keepers of the Legacy, would be born on the same day?! Let's break it down: First up, we have Annie Bell "Mammie" Green, born September 5, 1901, in Lynchburg, TN. She is the granddaughter of Nearest Green himself, who carried on the family torch with pride! From her front porch rocking chair, she made sure every member of her family who worked at Jack Daniel's never forgot their ancestor. 🔥🙌🏽 Then, we've got Ben A. Green, born September 5, 1902, in Lonoke, Arkansas. He is the journalist for multiple papers in AL and TN and the writer of the only official biography of Jack Daniel. Nearest Green and his boys were mentioned so many times, more times than Jack's own family! 📚 But wait, there's more! Enter Clay Risen, born September 5, 1976, in Nashville, TN. He is the reporter who broke the story about Nearest Green in the New York Times article in 2016, keeping the legacy alive! 🗞️ And last but certainly not least, Fawn Weaver, born on the exact same day as Clay Risen, September 5, 1976, in Hollywood, CA. She is the visionary who read Clay's article and began her life's purpose of cementing the legacy of Nearest Green for every future generation! 💯🙌🏽 Now here's the kicker: No one knows when Jack Daniel was born, other than 1848 in Lynchburg, TN. But what we do know, is until a decade or so ago when his namesake distillery began celebrating his bday for the entire month of September, and he is believed to have shared that very same birthday: Spetember 5th! 🎂🥳 Seriously, WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!
