Join us on Saturday, September 23rd (10 am - 1pm) for a very special triple-header event on Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore! Not only is it National Public Lands Day, but it's also California Coastal Cleanup Day, and our Summer Of Service beach cleanup! This free event is open to the public and no pre-registration is required. So, drop on by with your work gloves and a bucket to haul trash out in, and contribute data to the California Coastal Commission's statewide Coastal Cleanup Day database. Coastal conditions may be cool or damp, so bring warm layers in case they're needed, and snacks/lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, etc. And, as part of volunteering on National Public Lands Day, you'll receive a one-time pass to get into any National Park unit for free (good for one car's entrance fee)!
